Alan Staser Obituary
Mr. Staser was born on June 24, 1946 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Herbert and Mayme (Billings) Staser. He worked as a fork truck operator at General Foods for many years prior to retiring. Alan enjoyed gardening, working with metal sculptures, watching John Wayne westerns and his dog, Coco.
Surviving Alan are his wife of 20 years, Carolyn (Pearson) Staser; a daughter, Johnna (Darryl) Cruz; son, Robert Staser; stepdaughter, Kimbery Williams; sister, Alice (Rev. Guy) Quirk; brother, William (Carolyn) Staser; grandchildren, Taryn, Sabra, River, Heather, Christopher, Vince, Olivia, Kyler and Hailey and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Hayes; stepdaughter, Michele Goodrich; brother, Ronald Staser and sister, Lois Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Guy Quirk officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 PM on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
