My deepest condolences to the Young Ladies and Family. Both Alan & Barbara were like rare gems who shined like Diamonds. Well Done!! The journey here is complete. Now, to the place of eternal rest . Peace & Rest, no more pain. Until we meet again. Heartfelt sympathies.

I am happily reminded of Barbara and Alan when I think about the lifelong friendship we shared beginning in elementary school. Our life journeys differed, but we always maintained our communication and invaluable friendship. They fondly called me "Uca."
While my friendship with Barbara and Alan was long-lasting, I respected Alan for his support of Barbara and their family. He exhibited the truth of "in sickness and in health" with extraordinary loving strength. Alan was a model of " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Philippians 4:13.
Now, I bid adieu to both my endearing friends and will truly miss our "back in the day " conversations.
