Mark Beilenson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 16, 2018.
Mark Lawrence Beilenson, of Ardsley, New York, born on October 24, 1953 in Bronxville, New York, to Matty (Matilda Goldman) Beilenson and the late Albert Beilenson, passed away at age 64 on July 4, 2018 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Mark was the loving husband of Peggy (Taylor) Beilenson. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Michael Bruce Beilenson. Mark is survived by his sons, Matthew Beilenson and Michael Albert Beilenson; daughters, Megan Beilenson, Marisa Beilenson, and Dawn Himel; sister, Ronnie (Beilenson) Eichelberger; and 9 grandchildren.
After retiring from computer programming and project management Mark spent his time volunteering with the IDignity organization and being with his family. Mark was a music & movie buff who loved traveling and the television series Law & Order.
Mark's death has left a giant hole in our hearts but we are hopeful that he has found peace and comfort. Though we are thankful for Mark's 64 years we always thought we would have more time with him; so, go on the vacation, eat the ice cream, and love wholeheartedly because time is promised to no one.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Mark when he was in high school and he was a great friend whom we had a lot of fun with. I have not seen him since high school--sounds like he was alive and doing well in Florida. In high school he would do anything for his friends and we for him. At that time he liked an ice cream shop called "Jan's" in Eastchester--we would all pile into a car and head there for a huge sundae which we all shared. My love goes out to all of you.

Just heard today of Mark's passing. I met Mark when we worked together at AT&T, and I was lucky to run into him again when we both worked for Convergys. Mark was a great friend and mentor to many in AT&T payroll. RIP, Mark. We miss you.

Mark was the best of friends. I miss him desperately and daily wish I could pick up the phone and talk to him. I do hope that he has found the answers to all the questions that he had, and that he knows how much he was loved. Fly with the angels, my dear, dear one! You were loved.
