Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home - ColumbiaAlana Jaye Ingram Minor, 72, a lifelong resident of Columbia, died Saturday, September 13, 2025 at NHC HealthCare Columbia.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Alana was born on December 1, 1952 in Maury County, TN to the late Ollie Jay “Slim” Ingram and the late Katie Sue Smithson Ingram. She graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1971. Alana retired from the Maury County Clerk’s Office after several years of employment and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband Jerry Minor of Columbia; son, Kevin (Teri) Hubbard of Sioux Center, Iowa; two step sons, Jason (Kathy) Minor of Culleoka and Paul (Jai) Minor of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Walker Hubbard, Ransom Hubbard, Abram Hubbard and Gabriella “GG") Minor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Meredith Hubbard and sister Nancy Ann Ingram Nichols.
