Robin, as you know, Al was one of my very best friends ... he was without a doubt one of the most real and genuine friends I have ever known ... I didn´t have a chance to be around him in his later years and I regret that ... Al and I became close friends in the late 1970´s when we performed together in The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama in Branson ... those years are some of the most memorable years of my life ... I truly loved Al as a close friend and will miss his very special personality and of course his great talent ... Robin and all of your wonderful family I will always love my friend Al Brumley!! I know Al is performing and is rejoicing with his wonderful mom and dad and all of his talented family. ... God Bless Robin and thank you for your love you shared with Al for so many great years!!
