Albert Buchanan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Weeks' Funeral Homes - Buckley on Nov. 30, 2023.
In loving memory of Albert "Pete" Milton Buchanan, II who entered this world on September 10, 1969, in Jerseyville, Illinois, to his parents Albert D. Buchanan and Katherine A. Ross. Pete's journey touched the lives of many, and it is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on November 11, 2023.
Pete lived a life connected to nature. As a fisherman, he navigated the waters with skill and passion. His love for the outdoors extended beyond his work, as he found joy in hunting, fishing, foraging, hiking, and camping. These were the pursuits that brought him peace and fulfillment.
Pete's adventurous spirit embraced the simple pleasures of life, including the camaraderie of friends and family. He cherished moments spent together, finding joy in shooting, sharing stories, and enjoying marijuana.
Sadly, he is preceded in death by family members Curtiss Crombie, Kathy Ross Crombie, Albert D. Buchanan, and Melvin Ross.
Pete leaves behind a legacy of love and shared experiences, survived by his ex-wife, Cheri Buchanan, and Annette Tracht. His memory lives on through his sons Chayne Buchanan (Sammie), Wayne Buchanan (Karoline), Curtiss Buchanan (Jenisee), and Reno Buchanan, as well as his daughter Ashley Buchanan (Michael). Albert is also survived by his brothers Donald Buchanan and Chris Sarver, and his sisters Donna Crombie and Amy Crombie.
In this time of grief, may the memories of Albert "Pete" Milton Buchanan, II bring solace and comfort to his family and friends. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of his family.
