Albert Corbett Obituary
He was born in St. Cloud, FL to the late Lemuel Meeks Corbett and Bessie Lee Corbett. He was formerly employed with Auto Zone for many years but had most recently been a truck driver with Randy Guynn Trucking. He was also a member of Liberty Christian Church.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chelsea Heckel; and a brother, Dudley Corbett.
He is survived by two sons, Albert Franklin Corbett, Jr. (Stacie) of Waycross and Austin Corbett of Waycross; two adopted daughters, Nikki Clark (David) of Atlanta and Hailey Drury of Folkston; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; five sisters, Lillian Taylor, Darlene Cason (Johnny), Nancy Music, Gail Duncan (Terry), and Emma Taylor (Ronnie); three brothers, Ira Corbett (Kathy), Chester Corbett (Edith), and Lemuel Corbett (Tina); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 2, 2024) at Liberty Christian Church. Burial will follow in Waresboro Cemetery. Albert's body will lie in state at the church beginning on Monday at 12 o'clock.
