Albert J. DiBella

Albert J. DiBella, 89, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his residence in Hamilton.
Born and raised in Bayonne, Albert graduated from Bayonne High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. After his time in the military, he started a hair salon, Hair Traffic, in Hamilton and Lawrence with his wife, Audrey. They built a successful business of over 30 years, enjoying their clients and making lasting friendships. Albert went on to work for Princeton University in the facility department for over 39 years.
Albert was a member of the Italian American Sportsman Club of Hamilton where he enjoyed playing bocci-ball in years past, and for many years played cards with fellow members every weekend. He was a longtime communicate of Saint Gregory the Great R.C. Church.
Albert liked taking trips to Harrah's in Atlantic City, playing golf- having won several tournaments, and enjoyed a good cigar, especially those given to him by his grandson.
Predeceased by his parents, Carmela and Rosina (Molino) DiBella; his brothers, John and Joseph DiBella; his sister, Millie DiBella; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stanley and Loretta (Pone) Dura; he is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Audrey A.(Dura) DiBella; his step-son, Robert Murdza and his wife, MaryBeth, of Wall; his grandsons, Devon Murdza and his husband, Alex, and Colton Murdza; his brother-in-law, Robert McDonough; and his nephew, John DiBella.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. at Saint Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery in Hamilton.
Albert's Family has requested no flowers, please. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
