Albert Martinez Duran, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, in Menifee, California, at the age of 88. Born on January 14, 1937, in Los Angeles, California, Albert's life was marked by an unwavering devotion to his family, a profound Christian faith, and a remarkable career that spanned over four decades.

Albert's legacy is lovingly carried on by his devoted wife, Carol Duran, and their seven children: Albert, Gerald, Christopher, Denise, Daniel, Norman, and Tanya. He was a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren who will miss his gentle guidance and enduring kindness. Albert is also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren and siblings Tony and Linda, who, along with his entire family, will cherish memories of his steadfast presence. He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Rosa and his dear siblings Bertha, Aldolph and Christina.

For 32 years, Albert dedicated his professional life to Hussmann Refrigeration Corporation as a Drafting Manager. His career with the company was a testament to his work ethic and adaptability, witnessing the company's growth and relocation from Los Angeles to La Mirada, and ultimately to Chino. His colleagues respected him for his demanding standards, always delivered with a kindness that inspired those around him to strive for excellence.

Albert's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life. He lived his beliefs through every action and interaction, demonstrating what it means to be a true servant of God. His love for the Lord was evident to all who knew him, as was the love he had for his family. Albert's commitment to his faith provided comfort and guidance to his loved ones, and his example of Christian living will remain a powerful influence for generations to come.

A man of many interests, Albert was an avid sports enthusiast with a particular passion for the Los Angeles Dodgers. His eyes would light up with every play, and his heart remained true to his team through every season. Gardening was another joy for Albert; he found peace and satisfaction in tending to his plants and watching them flourish. His love for travel took him to many places, but he was just as content to enjoy a meal out with his family, embracing the simple pleasures of life.

Albert will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, a person whose faith-filled life touched everyone he encountered. His ability to balance high expectations with compassion made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know him. The words kind, gentle, and faith-filled are not just descriptors but the very essence of who Albert Martinez Duran was.

As we say farewell to Albert, we celebrate a life abundantly lived and a legacy of love that will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those who loved him. Though he may have left this earthly realm, the memory of his spirited devotion to God, family, and community will continue to live on. Albert's life was a beautiful reflection of the values he held dear, and his spirit will continue to guide us in the days and years to come.
