Albert Lee Engel, age 35 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was born October 15, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Shelby Schnitzler Sr. and Lola Engel.
The light of Albert's world was his daughter, Prestyn. He loved to take her on walks to ride her bike, roller blade or watch her color with chalk. He was one of the biggest fans of the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. He loved to fish and always had a cup of coffee in his hands with a warm smile.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lola Engel and brother, Preston Trimble.
Albert is survived by the mother of his child and best friend, Taylor (Garner Monholland) Engel; daughter, Prestyn Lola Lee Engel; sister, Misty Engel; niece and nephew, Austin and Remy; brother, Shelby (Dawn) Schnitzler Jr.; nieces and nephews, Morgan, Cody, Shianne, Paige, Ryann and Brooklyn; brother, Joe Engel; brother Austin Robinette; step-father, Gary Wright and father, Shelby (Pam) Schnitzler Sr.
Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a service to follow at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
