Albert Escher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service on Apr. 1, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Albert "Stevie" Stevens Escher Jr., who left us on March 28, 2025. Born to Albert and Louise Escher on September 10, 1952 in Camden, NJ, he was preceded in death by his siblings, David and Nancy. He is survived by his loving sisters, Beverly and Jeanette.
A proud Vietnam veteran of the Marine Corp, he served his country with honor and dedication. For ten wonderful years, he was married to Sharon, who brought joy to his life. He raised his five children-Lori, Jessica, Mark, Sam, and Michele-as a single father, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Jessica and Brandi, and he was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and family.
Known for his towering presence and boisterous voice, he had a way of commanding attention wherever he went. His laughter filled the room, and his gentle giant demeanor made everyone feel at ease-a true teddy bear to those who knew him. Lori called him her hero and the greatest man she ever knew. He lovingly called Jessica "Mouser," a testament to their special bond. He was a best friend to Mark and a gaming buddy to Sam during their younger years, sharing countless cherished memories. His warmth, kindness, and wisdom will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we celebrate his life, we take comfort in the memories we shared and the love he gave us. He will forever remain in our hearts.
No formal services are planned at this time. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service of Bunnell, FL assisted the family with arrangements. www.HeritageFlagler.com
