Albert Esposito Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home - State College on Jan. 14, 2023.
Albert (Al) Daniel Esposito, a beloved husband, father, grandfather "Nonno", brother, and friend passed away peacefully at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, Pennsylvania on January 10, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.
Al was born in Abington, Pennsylvania on May 8, 1954 to Ralph and Angelina Esposito. Al graduated from Council Rock School District and received his Associates degree in business from Bucks County Community College.
Al spent 40 years working in the furniture industry specializing in purchasing, designing, and merchandising. His passion for his work shined through his interactions with his clients. One of Al's favorite aspects of the business was traveling to furniture shows to network with other professionals and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends.
Al enjoyed working outside and landscaping around his home. He also loved listening to many genres of music. Some of his favorite artists were Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Josh Groban, Il Divo, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Buffet. Al played baseball through college and went on to coach a youth baseball team. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering for all Penn State sports, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Boston Celtics.
Most of all, Al loved spending time with his family and passed down the importance of family traditions. He treasured every moment with his grandchildren. He always looked forward to family vacations to the Jersey Shore and visiting with his sisters and brother. He hosted many family dinners, especially his traditional seven fishes Christmas Eve dinner. Al welcomed anyone into his home as if they were family.
Al is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Linda Esposito; his children, Lauren Ishler (Derek), Meghann Luby (Matthew), Daniel Esposito (Korin), Paul Esposito (Dyana), and Dominic Esposito (Samantha); eight grandchildren, Alexandra and Grace Ishler, Emmett, Jude, and Oliver Luby, Kailey Razawich, Benjamin Esposito, and a baby boy on the way; two sisters, Madelyn Donofry (Donald) and Alba Bishof (Robert), and a sister in-law Patricia Esposito.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Angelina Esposito and his brother, Ralph Esposito.
Services will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, January 17th at 11:00 am at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA, 16801.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al's memory to the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition Inc. An online guestbook may be signed and condolences left for the family at www.hakygeorgianafh.com
