Services will be 12:00 pm Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Williams Chapel AME Church, 9818 Zebulon Road, Forsyth, Georgia. Reverend Nathaniel Brown pastor and Reverend Micheal Harvey eulogist. Burial in Fields Family cemetery. Service is scheduled to be Streamed Live on our Facebook page. Public viewing will be Friday, May 30, 2025 from 2-6 pm. Albert B. Fields Sr. was Born to the parents of the late Elizabeth Josey and Schyulor Fields Sr on May 2, 1944. Albert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He touched many lives and gained much respect from the community during his life here on Earth. Albert worked diligently for 53 years in the Monroe County School System starting out as a Bus Driver, then moving up to Mechanic and finally Transportation Coordinator. He gained much respect from his co-workers and became a superhero to the schoolchildren. His colleagues respected his leadership, unwavering work ethic and friendship. He also worked in the logging business for many years until he felt it was time to give it up and focus on his career with the school system. Albert's hobbies were gardening, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed watching his favorite Western Shows daily. He was affectionally love by many people throughout Monroe County, but grandchildren were his pride and joy. Albert was able to see his 81st birthday and celebrate his 53rd wedding anniversary with the love of his life as he called her Lee. After the celebration of these two momentous occasions, he peacefully departed his earthly journey with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and Schyulor Fields, sisters Ella Rose and Ruby, brothers Robert Lee, Charles and Schyulor Jr. Albert is survived by his beautiful and loving wife Leathica Moore Fields, daughters and son. Tijuana Hall (Wilson Sr.), Albert Fields Jr, Tamara Walker (Quinton) Siblings, Margaret Moore, John (Barbara) Theo (Earnestine) Grandchildren, Wilson Jr, Tashera, Albeyon, Jada, Schyular, Josiah. Great-Grandchildren Kenely, and Lenox, In-laws Gladys, Joe(Shirley), David(Alice), Cherrie, Mattie, Barbara, Emma, Curtis, Gloria, a Special nephew that was like a Son Johnnie Jr (Alesia Gail), numerous nieces and nephews that loved him dearly and 2 special work friends Sarah Francis Herndon and Lori Ann Hampshire.
