Albert Gantz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ely Funeral Home - Neptune on Jul. 12, 2024.
Al Gantz, born on August 17, 1951, peacefully passed away on July 11, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Ann Harding Gantz, of Hobe Sound, Florida. Al dedicated much of his life to the elevator construction industry, working tirelessly for Dover Elevators and later ThyssenKrupp.
Beyond his professional life, Al had a passion for the outdoors. An avid fisherman, he found solace and joy by the water, often sharing his adventures with family and friends. His love for travel took him to many memorable places, enriching his life with diverse experiences. Al also enjoyed the camaraderie of golf, spending leisurely days on the green whenever he could.
Above all else, Al was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His unwavering love and support for his wife, Ann, his daughter Heather Kleinle of Bethlehem, PA, son-in-law Matthew Kleinle, and grandson Griffin Albert Kleinle defined his life's purpose. Al's commitment to his family was evident in everything he did, always placing their happiness and well-being above all else.
In the hearts of those who knew him, Al will be remembered for his kind spirit, his passion for life's simple pleasures, and his profound love for his family. His legacy of love, hard work, and integrity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
In addition to his immediate family, Al is survived by his sister, Karen Gantz of Leesburg, Florida, who shared many cherished memories with him throughout their lives. Al was preceded in death by his father, Albert N. Gantz (2006), his mother, Christina Johanna Smith Gantz (2010), and his brother, Stephen Gantz (1998).
Services to honor Al Gantz's life will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Ocean Grove Beach Foundation or Captains for Clean Water in memory of Al's generous spirit and love for his community.
Al Gantz will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
