Albert Geiss Obituary
Albert was the beloved husband of 60 years to Mary Jane Carey Geiss and the father of the late Maureen McNicholas.
Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of the late Edward and Ruth Geiss.
Albert worked for SEPTA for many years and had kept in close contact with his former co-workers. He enjoyed meeting up with his SEPTA buddies and other close friends weekly for breakfast, but above all Albert cherished time with family. Albert was a devoted husband, father, Pop Pop, and Pop Pop Pal. He truly enjoyed taking an active part in the lives of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed but forever remembered by them.
Albert is survived by his loving and devoted sons Brian A. Geiss and his wife Elaine of Newtown, Christopher J. Geiss of Newtown, and Mark E. Geiss of Holland. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and his son-in-law Kevin McNicholas of Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:30am in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. His interment will be held privately with immediate family following Mass at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown.
