Albert R. Gregoire

Albert R. "Al" Gregoire, age 79, a resident of Naples FL, formerly of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Maree (Mahoney) Gregoire with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Al was born in Lowell on September 17, 1945, and was the son of the late Leo Gregoire and Leona (Milot) Gregoire.

In addition to his loving wife, Al is survived by his son Stephen Gregoire and his wife Renee of Hudson, NH and daughter Christine Gregoire of Lowell. He was very proud of his two grandchildren PFC Michael Gregoire of El Paso, TX and Rachael Gregoire of Hudson, NH. He also leaves his nieces Elaine Farrington, Priscilla Gately, Lynn Mallett, Lisa Snell, Patricia Lauziere and Michele Gregoire and a large group of friends in the Lowell area and Florida.

Al is pre-deceased by his siblings Rita Michaud, Roland Gregoire and Raymond Gregoire.

Al loved his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his buddies, spending time in the outdoors, watching football and golf and reading. He was raised in Lowell. He attended Lowell High School and spent time in the National Guard where he was honorably discharged in 1971. He spent most of his career working for Raytheon as a Logistics Manager and retired in 2003. He and Maree moved to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands and spent 7 years enjoying island life while working for Raytheon. The "Kwaj Family" they made during those years have been a wonderful support and many are still part of their lives to this day.

We are thankful for the wonderful care that Al received at NCH in Naples, especially Dr. Luis Paz Rios who treated Al like family.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4 pm – 7 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Military Honors will take place in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 12 noon at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, 374 Stevens St., LOWELL. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be held privately.
