Albert A. "Archie" Hilton

Albert "Archie" A. Hilton, age 79, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the McKinley Health Center in Brookville, PA. Archie was born in Erie, PA, on August 1, 1946, to the late Sherwood Russell and Shirley (Hawk) Hilton.

Archie graduated from Brookville High School in Brookville, PA, with the class of 1964. He attended the Dubois Business College in DuBois, PA and later enrolled in a Lumbering School where he studied lumber grading.

During his youth, Archie assisted with the operations of his parents' businesses, including the Gold Eagle Hotel and Hilton's Diner, both located in Brookville, PA. He was employed as a lumber grader at several lumber mills and retired in the early 2000's from Brookville Wood Products in Brookville, PA.

Archie was a member of the First Methodist Church in Brookville, PA and actively participated in the Men's Fellowship of Brookville.

Archie spent his lifetime engaged in activities such as bowling, as well as automotive repair or motorcycle maintenance. He was an enthusiastic owner of numerous vehicles and was a skilled motorcyclist. His most treasured possession was a 1969 Stingray Corvette. Throughout his life, Archie participated in numerous automotive shows.

More than anything else, Archie's children and grandchildren brought him the greatest joy. He was consistently supportive of his family, valued the time spent during lunch outings, and cherished the memories they created. Archie was a well-liked individual within the community, known for his friendly nature, and his family and friends will deeply miss him.

Archie is survived by three children; Brandie (Jason) Sarvey of Brookville, PA, Archie Hilton of Virginia, Kristina Miller of Punxsutawney, PA; five grandchildren; Ashley (Cameron) Wilfong of Brookville, PA, Ryan (Mackenzie) Sarvey of Brookville, PA, Kane Hilton of Portsmouth, VA, Taylin Buzard of Punxsutawney, PA and Paisley Buzard of Punxsutawney, PA.

In addition to his parents, Archie was preceded in death by one daughter; Amanda Hilton and his sister; Cindy LaCoe.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5 – 8 pm at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place privately.

Interment will also take place privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
