Albert J. Johnson

Albert J. Johnson, 70 of Perryopolis entered eternal rest on Friday February 27, 2026 at home in Whittset, with his loving wife by his side. Albert was born in New London, Connecticut on October 19, 1955 to the late Harold and Rita Johnson. Al was a graduate of Waterford High School. He worked at Electric Boat as a draftsman and then went to work at Robertson Paper Box in Montville and the company then changed its name to Rand Whitney Paper Box. He worked there for 12 years. He then worked at Foxwoods Casino until he retired in 2019 at the age of 63. He then changed his location to Pennsylvania where his wife was from. He married Janice Brooks on July 2, 1989 at the Rose Garden in Norwich, CT. and was married for 36 years. He became a step father to his wife's daughter, Eva Marie and he became her daddy. He is survived by his wife, Janice, daughter, Eva and husband Joshua Miller; grandson Preston James Brooks, named after his grandfather and granddaughter, Helaina Rosalee Miller. A Celebration of Albert's Life will be held on Saturday March, 28, 2026 at the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, PA from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., the hour of funeral services with Rev. William Weightman officiating.
