Dr. R. David "Dave" Scott

Dr. R. David "Dave" Scott, 79, of Connellsville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 with his loving wife by his side. Dave was born on December 27, 1946 in Seaford, Delaware a son of the late Robert and Mary Madden Scott

Left to cherish is memory are his wife of 36 years, Christine Nicholson Scott; son Chad Lembo and his wife Brenda; grandchildren Austin (Payton) Lembo, Cooper Lembo and Parker Lembo; great-granddaughter Emersyn Lembo. Dave is also survived by his sisters Joan Scott and Judy Cemannia (Fran) and brother, Kenneth Scott. Also survived by sisters in law, Sherry Hearne (Bill), Margie Maphis ( John), Jacki DeHainaut (Rob) and Connie Nicholson and brother-in-law, Randy Nicholson. Dave was an avid reader and loved nothing more than a good discussion. Dave, Dr. Scott (as many knew him) or Pop-Pop, ran a successful dental practice in Mount Pleasant for 40 years. After retiring, his happy place was soaking in the sun on a golf course. Dave graduated from Westchester College in 1968 with a degree in Physical Education and then graduated from Thiel College with a Degree in Chemistry and graduated from Pitt Dental School in 1979. He was also a veteran of the US Army serving as a combat engineer. Family and friends will be received from 2-8 P.M Friday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville, Pa. Funeral services and interment will be private. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice and especially Michelle, Jessica, Becky and Pastor Brian Swan for their wonderful and compassionate care.
