Born in Connellsville, PA on June 8, 1961, Mark was the son of the late Glenn L Price and Vernie Pierce Price.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 38 years, Sandra Anthony Price, his children, Nathan Edward Price and wife Courtney Boyle Price and Lucas Eli Price; and his cherished grandchildren Rowan Charlotte Price and Jensen Edward Price. Mark is also survived by his siblings Glenn Price Jr. and Gloria Price; his brother-in-law David R. Mark was the Assistant Facilities Coordinator at the WVU Creative Arts Center, retiring from WVU after more than 20 years and was a proud member of IATSE. Mark found joy in spending time with his family, working on cars, traveling and fishing along the North Carolina Outer Banks.

Honoring Mark’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.

Family and Friends will be received on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Erikson Alumni Center, 1 Alumni Dr, Morgantown, WV 26506 from 1:30pm until 4:00pm with a brief service at 3:00 pm where people can share memories and then a toast to Mark.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209 in efforts to find a cure for the disease that took Mark’s life. There is also a tribute page to Mark on the ALS Association Defeat ALS Your Way website.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the wonderful health care providers who tended to Mark throughout his illness, especially Chris on 8 East who was often Mark’s nurse.
