Donald “Don” Miller, 94, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Heritage Point. He was born on August 25, 1931, the son of the late Charles Miller and Ida Vincent Miller.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and also served as a civilian for the United States Navy. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but above all he cherished spending time with his family.
Don is survived by his children, Terri Mones (Eric), Scott Miller (Darlene), Steven Hockensmith (Deb), and Debbie Eberly; grandchildren, Zack Miller (Morgan), Ben Miller (Fontana), Abby Miller (Omar), Steve Hockensmith (Loren), Misti Gardner (Luke), Noel Brennan (Rich), and Courtney Cofer (Shawn); as well as several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor Jane Miller, and several siblings.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at both Heritage Point and Sundale Rehabilitation and Long Term Care for their loving care and support.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday, March 9, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. Cremation services are being provided.
