Born in Elyria, he grew up in North Ridgeville, graduating from North Ridgeville High School, class of 1981. He had resided in California for most of his life. He worked as a baggage handler for American Airlines. He enjoyed playing foosball, guitar and especially basketball.
Survivors include his sisters, Lorraine Glass of Powell, Mary (Larry) Knapp of North Ridgeville, Margaret (Jayce) Ashwell of Powell, Theresa Jurco DC of Encinitas, brothers, John (Barbara) Jurco of Elyria, James (Victoria) Jurco of Palm Harbor, FL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Wanda Jurco, sister Joanne Jurco and brother Paul Jurco.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10 AM Mass Monday February 23, 2026 at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. Rev. Robert Franco will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Brother Bennos to help the homeless www.brotherbenno.org
