Albert Tafoya Munoz



Albert Tafoya Munoz, age 80, born in Winslow, Arizona and a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on June 21, 2022. Mr. Munoz is survived by his children, Paula and husband, Joseph, Perry and wife, Tammy; siblings Cruz Munoz and wife, Cathy, Tony Munoz and wife, Virgie, Gloria Aragon, Gilbert Munoz; grandchildren, Joseph ll and wife, Samantha, Jaeden and husband, Jake, David Perea, Estrella, Perry, and Mia; great-grandchildren, Eli, and Jax; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Lorrella Munoz, and daughter Sonia Munoz Perea . Albert served his country proudly in active duty for four years in the United States Air Force. He had a long career with the United States Postal Service, always active in helping his fellow veterans and his community. He loved to go on rides, dance, loved Starbucks and spending time with his loving family and beloved fur friend, Pepe. Albert had a great way with words that his family loved about him. The family would like to give special thanks to his granddaughters and caregivers, Jaeden Carpenter-Sandoval and Estrella Munoz. A Rosary will be recited at San Clemente Catholic Church 244 Luna Ave SE in Los Lunas, New Mexico on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow services at the San Clemente Cemetery 153 Chavez Lane in Los Lunas.
