Albert Peter Nardiello

Albert Peter Nardiello, Jr., 77, of Crystal Beach, Texas passed peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024. He was born March 21,1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pattie Nardiello; sons, Jeff Nardiello; Terry Nardiello and wife, Janie; and Chris Nardiello and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Cameron, Hunter, Braden, Jace, Annabelle, Riki, Keenan, McKenna, Oliver, and Finn; and sisters, Susan Dovovan and husband, Terry; Marie Tyner and husband, Kevin; and Phyllis Noone and husband, Randy.
Al was an extraordinarily hard worker starting his career at Turners Dairy in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania at the age of 10. After graduating Penn Hills High School, he attended Edinboro University where he was an active member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, played saxophone, and lettered on the wrestling team. On December 30, 1967, Al married the love of his life, Pattie. Upon college graduation, Al supported his family thru the years as a milk delivery man, school teacher, and truck driver amongst other varied jobs to ensure his family was cared for often holding multiple jobs simultaneously. He retired from United Parcel Service in 2007 after 25 years of service.
During his spare time and into retirement "Big Al" as he was affectionately known to his friends, enjoyed playing bocce on the beach, sharing Italian food with his family and cruising with his wife, Pattie and their friends. His laughter and jovial attitude would bring a room to life addressing everyone as Yinz specifically while watching Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguin games. Al's grandchildren were especially important to him traveling across Texas and to Las Vegas, Nevada to witness firsthand their important activities and share smiles, hugs and many stories. The grandkids all loved Pop Pop's early morning breakfasts and persistent offerings of chocolate milk.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Philomena Nardiello and daughter-in-law, Megan Nardiello.
Al was loved immensely and will be missed by his family and friends.
His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Plans for a celebration of life will be shared in the near future.
