Albert G. Painter
Albert Gene Painter, 83 widower of Sherie Marie Painter passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at Regional Hospice Home.
Born March 6, 1942 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Lonnie Painter and Ela Mae Morris Painter. He was retired as a plant manager with Beverage Air, a member of the Chesnee and Cherokee Masonic Lodges and of the Baptist faith. His hobbies included working in his garden, riding his motorcycle and fishing.
Surviving are his daughters, Pamela Marie Johnson (Joey Moore) of Chesnee, Angela Michelle Fowler (Scott Steinecke) of Chesnee; sisters, Willie Mae Horn of Pickens, Cathy Tucker of Boiling Springs; brother, Jack Ed. Painter (Janice) of Chesnee; grandchildren, Christopher Fowler of Blacksburg, Cooper Moore and Adaleigh Moore of Mooresboro, NC.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased brothers, Ernest Painter, Lewis Painter and a granddaughter, Amber Fowler.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory. A private interment will be held in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
Family members are at their respective homes.
