Albert Payne Obituary
Albert William Payne, 90, of Farner, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born on May 27, 1933, in Cherokee County, North Carolina to the late William and Mindy Payne. Albert enjoyed fishing, wood cutting, and working on old trucks. He was also a Mentor Member of Turtletown Church of God Prophecy for 55 years.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Baine Payne; and his son, James William Payne.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter and son in-law, Vickie and Timothy Pack; grandchildren, Christy Pack, Chastity (Chris) Vivian, Chyenne(Brett) Payne, Rochelle (Josh) Hooper, and Trevor (Ashley) Payne his great grandchildren, Tucker Shroth, Kelle Shroth, Landon Vivian, Albert Vivian, Emory Payne, Sarah Payne, Jasper Hooper, Raeleigh Hooper, and Garrett Payne.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
