Albert Cote Obituary

Albert Roger Cote, 86, of Manchester died August 2, 2025 after a period of declining health.

Born in Springfield, MA on January 30, 1939, Roger was the son of Albert F. and Anita (Asselin) Cote. After graduating high school, he served in the US Air Force, Airman 2nd Class as an autopilot technician. Roger later earned his bachelor's degree from Western New England University. Prior to retirement, Roger worked in the financial services industry for many years.

Roger cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He found pleasure spending time at his pool, barbecuing and entertaining friends and family. Roger enjoyed fall and winter football, both college and NFL (especially the Patriots). He also loved the winter, the bigger the snow storm the better.

Roger was an active communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish and volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister. He was active in the Knights of Columbus as a Fourth Degree Knight and served as Grand Knight at the council of St. Elizabeth Seton. He was also a member of the Bedford Rotary Club.

Roger was predeceased by his wife, Gail (Wesner) Cote in 2018 and his granddaughter, Loren Ducharme.

Family members include his children, Scott Cote and fiancée Judy Lamont of Bedford, Cheryl Elliott and husband Steve of Goffstown, Jeff Cote of Nashua, Christine Ducharme and husband Gary of Bedford; grandchildren, Bradley, Amanda and Samantha; his sisters, Rita (Cote) Tibbetts, Irene Carbone and husband Ernie; nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Courville Manchester for the compassionate care they provided for their father. They are also deeply grateful for the support provided by Guardian Angels and Bayada Home Health .

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Sunday, August 10 from 2 to 5 pm. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 11th at 10 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford. I just wanted to tell you that I visited Roger quite a few times and prayed with him. I saw a Bible sitting on his table and we talked about the Lord. He knew Jesus. I know he's with him now. I am praying for your family during this difficult time
