To The Family. You may find this odd to be writing condolences at the death of Albert bu for some reason he has been on my mind lately. Because of this, I started searching for his whereabouts on the Internet and was surprised to learn of this death. i first met Al when I was senior at Zanesville High School in Zanesville. Ohio in November 1954 when I was just 17 and was attending OSU then. My drama class was on a field trip to OSU and that was when I first meet Al when he mistakenly mistook me for an OSU student when he asked me if I was lost or something because I was standing outside in the hall because I was bored with speeches going inside the auditorium. We started conversing which turned into a friendship. He would write me letters. call long distance and we would talk for hours. After graduation I moved to Columbus to work and go to school. Occasionally i would see Al. Then when I moved back to Zanesville, Al wrote me a letter telling me he was too busy to continue friendships with no one and I never saw him or heard from him again. This was back in December 1956. I found Al to be very intelligent obsessed with learning everything, very strange concerning how he viewed, typical of one that is too intelligent, anti-social but quite likeable. May he rest in peace and find joy and happiness in the next life Respectfully, Mr. Connor E Lewis. Email: [email protected]

As an avid listener to AM820, I have to admit that Sacred Soundings is my favorite program. Through his show, Mr. Romano opened up an entire genre of music to me that has made an immense impact on my life. May God bless his soul and eternal peace unto him.
