Albert D. Santora

Albert D Santora, 81, of Nutley passed away Friday, June 13th 2025. Born in Jersey City, Albert was the son of the late Emily Rispo and Albert V. Santora.
Albert had many passions and his first was of music and the guitar. He was the guitarist for The Craftsman, a band which made the charts and had an appearance on American Bandstand.
In 1967 Al graduated from the New York University of Music and became a music teacher. He had a love for Jazz music, which he played proficiently, and of teaching music. One of Al's many loves was horses and riding, other passions he enjoyed and mastered were boating, and ballroom dancing.
In 1981 Al founded Santora Packaging, a thriving family business which Jeannette runs today.
At the end of the day nothing meant more to Al than his family and taking care of them.
He is survived by his daughter's Jeannette
Kozachuk and her husband George, Lori DelCorsano and her husband Joey. Four grandchildren Heather, Sabrina, Nicolas and Daniel and his partner Linda Kwiatkowsk and former wife Bice DelGaldo.
Visitors will be received at SW Brown & Sons Funeral Home 267 Center Street, Nutley on Tuesday June 17th from 4 PM - 8PM.
Funeral services will be conducted at S.W. Brown and Son Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Wednesday June 18th followed by interment at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
