Albert L. Schleif, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Al was a man of many talents; while working at Coca Cola, he went to school for HVAC. This would lead to him starting his own business, S&S Heating and Air. He was also a gifted musician; he got to live his dream by touring with the "Whiskey River Band." Another talent he possessed was the ability to design and build remote-controlled airplanes, and not the small kind. The big 4-foot wingspan planes.
His last ten years were plagued by many health issues, surgeries, but he took it all in stride and never complained. He had a huge, kind heart and loved his family, and we loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Viola (Boe) Bowers Schleif, brothers, Wade and Thurman, sister-in-law, Glenda Schleif, sister, Janis (Bobby) Fox and niece, Cindy James Brown.
He is survived by his daughter, Beth Schleif Oliver, son, Jason Schleif, sisters, Freida James and Lisa (Lloyd) McAlister, brother, Dana (Carrie) Schleif, grandchildren, Hunter (Danielle), Carli, Lily and Hannah, great grandchild, Leilani, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved you all but there are too many to list.
The family wishes to thank Allen Schleif for all the love and care he provided while taking care of Al. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude. Al loved you dearly!
Our hearts will never get over losing you so soon, but we will celebrate having such a caring and loving brother, dad and grandfather. We will stand on the scripture that "All things work together for good to them that love the Lord."
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 till 8:00 on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the funeral home. Services will be in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Charles Ingle presiding. Burial will be at a later date in Granny Walker Cemetery.
