Albert Ronald Texter

Albert Ronald Texter, 75 of Turkey City Pennsylvania, passed away at home April 24 surrounded by family. He was born March 28, 1950 in Foxburg, son of the late Albert S. Texter and Elnora I. Texter (Cope).
Albert is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Bonnie (McCall), and his two children, daughter Carrie Beth Robertson (Christopher) and his son Timothy Albert Texter (Christine). Five grandchildren Makayla Robertson and her fiancé Keagan McCleary, Riley Robertson, Isabella Texter, Brady Texter, and Gabriella Texter. He also leaves behind 3 sisters and a brother.
Albert was a consummate joker and took great pleasure in the little things in life, mowing his lawn, remodeling his house, helping his friends and neighbors and watching WWE wrestling. Nothing brought him more pleasure than spending time with his family and passing on the knowledge that he acquired throughout his life. He never missed an opportunity to tell everyone how proud he was of his grandchildren.
Albert was proud to have served his country during the Vietnam War, enlisting just after high school. Upon coming home he began his career as a United Steel Worker, retiring after 43 years at Electralloy in Oil City.
There will be a private ceremony for his close family at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion.
