Albert Ray “Ol Man” Thompson, 79, of Snyder, TX, passed away on August 7, 2025. Born on February 8, 1946, Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife, Cathy Thompson; his son, Jacob Thompson; and his cherished grandchildren, Cammie, Danica, Mykayla, AJ, and Gary Thompson. He is also survived by his sister, Norma Franks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and James Thompson; his brothers, Jimmy Thompson and Bryant Thompson; his sister, Janice Baccus; and extended family members Bobby Mansker and Linda Martin.

A private cremation service has been arranged. The family deeply appreciates the love, support, and prayers from friends during this difficult time.
