Obituary of Albert Trasferini

Albert Patrick Trasferini, 91, passed away peacefully at Cooper Medical Center on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He was born in Franklin Township, NJ, to the late Peter and Carmella (Sabella) Trasferini and graduated from Clayton High School in 1952. Al was no stranger to hard work and took great pride in working until his retirement in 2020. He worked on the family farm for many years (Pete Trasferini and Sons), and Trasferini Oil with his uncle and cousin. He was the owner of Garden State Cleaners in Minotola with his brother, John, and later the owner of Ideal Dry Cleaning with his daughter Lynn until retirement. Al was always sociable and called many of his customers good friends. Al was a former member of Landisville Gunning Club and Vineland Recreation Club. He enjoyed many activities including trips to Walt Disney World with his children and grandchildren, fishing trips with his son Paul, brothers and friends, baking, cooking, dancing, Big Band music, and attending all his Grandchildren's activities of which he was immensely proud! He is survived by his Daughter and son in law, Lynn and Kenneth Savela of Vineland, NJ; Son and daughter in law Paul and Maria Trasferini of Glassboro, NJ; son Ronald Trasferini (Lynne Nicosia) of Florida; his Beloved Grandchildren, Matthew Albert Savela (Casandra Reyes) of Pasadena MD and Stephanie Lynn Savela (his little sweetheart) of Vineland, NJ; brother Richard Trasferini of Vineland, NJ and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brothers John Trasferini and Andrew Trasferini. A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
