Albert G. Vojtek, 90 of Fort Gratiot Michigan (formerly of Indiana, PA) passed away October 16, 2025, at Rose Haven Personal Care.
He was born on January 5, 1935, to John J. Sr. and Agnes (Mayersky) Vojtek, in McKeesport PA.
After high school he worked for US Steel National Tube Works. He served in the Unted States Army during the 1950's and was stationed in Washington DC, where he worked as a records clerk, before retuning to the steel mills. He retired from US Steel in 1984 and moved his family to Indiana County. In 1994, he and his family moved to Port Huron/Fort Gratiot Michigan.
Albert was an avid coin collector in his younger days and couldn't resist spending a Saturday walking around flea markets. Albert's "second job" was that of transporting and attending his children's sporting events.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Martha Jean (Polivchak) Vojtek, his brothers John Jr. (Irene) and Edward (Phylis) and sister Emma (Gene) Mihalik, and infant son Michael Allen Vojtek.
He is survived by his sons William (Pamela) Vojtek Penn Run, PA, his son Gary Vojtek Fort Gratiot, MI, and daughter Susan Martin (Jim) Fort Gratiot, MI, his grandchildren Emily, Jacob, Alex, Megan, Justin, Giovanni, Noah, Jacob, Jane, Aaron, Dakota, Karynn, Seth, and Bryce along with great-grandchildren Autumn Elaine, Michael Allen, Hazel Jean, Lucas James, and Andrew Floyd Scott
At Albert's request all services are private and are being arranged through John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
