Albert Eugene Wolfe Sr.

Albert Eugene Wolfe, Sr., age 86, of Fairview, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 2, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Joplin in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born July 15, 1937 in Overbrook, Kansas the son of Floyd Gerald and Ester (Kappler) Wolfe. On February 6, 1955 in Ceres, California he was united in marriage to Della Faye Fanter, who preceded him in death on March 20, 2004. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Eric Wolfe; two brothers, Kenneth Wolfe and Sam Wolfe and one sister, Helen Becker.
Surviving are three sons, Albert Wolfe, Jr. of Fairview, Missouri, Rick Wolfe and his wife Kim of Oakdale, California and Greg and his wife Terissa of Senora, California; two sisters, Dorothy Monagharm of Lawrence, Kansas and Elizabeth Reed and her husband Clyde of Los Angeles, California; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Albert attended school in Ceres, California graduating from Ceres High School. He moved to this area in 1978 from Oakdale, California. Albert was a dairy farmer most of his life. He loved to bowl, spend time outdoors, go hunting and enjoyed baking. Albert was an avid Kansas University sports fan and enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers. He was a member of Wheaton First Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Wheaton, Missouri, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Reverend Kenneth Carney will conduct the service. Burial will be at Valley Home Cemetery in Valley Home, California at a later date.
