Mr. Albert Wright, Jr. affectionately known as "Bowright" was born on May 3, 1962, in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Anna Singleton Wright and Albert Wright, Sr., and the stepson of the late David Gilmore. He went to meet his heavenly Father on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Albert was educated in the public schools of Richland District One and was graduate of A.C. Flora High School Class of 1981. He worked for Aramark Corporation for over 12 years. Though he is no longer with us here on earth, his loving and kind sprit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elijah and Mary Singleton; and his father-in-law, Calvin Lucas.
Albert leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Lisa Hogan Wright; two sons, Christian (Porsha), and Jamel (Miya) Wright both of Columbia, SC; four grandsons, Azaiveon Corley, Christian (CJ), King, and Kyrie Wright, all of Columbia, SC; brothers, Donald (Derease) of Lawton, OK, and Darrell (Marie) Wright of Columbia, SC; sisters, Sheron Wright-McLean of Jacksonville, FL, and Jacqueline Wright of Columbia, SC; mother-in-law, Christine Lucas; brother-in-law, Michael (Harriett) Meetze of Columbia, SC; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Reginald) Warner, and Michelle Meetze, both of Columbia, SC; uncle, Anthony (Trudy) Singleton; aunts, Susan Washington and Carrie Mae Morris, both of Columbia, SC; and a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends that will miss him dearly.
