She had a love for crafting; she was known for her exceptional skills in crocheting and jewelry making, finding joy in creating unique gifts for her grandchildren, including personalized crochet outfits.
Alberta was the co-owner of Justus Stables, sharing her passion for horses and the outdoors with others. She even met her late husband, Jim “Red”, while riding horseback, where Red rode a horse named Snicklefritz and Alberta rode a horse named Babe. She was also known for her skills as a barrel racer. She had a long and committed career with the US Post Office, and retired after over 20 years of dedication.
Alberta was an adventurous soul who loved the great outdoors. As a member of the Capitol City Campers, she loved taking camping trips, where she explored the beauty of nature. Her travels took her to Florida and Texas in her motorhome, where she made unforgettable memories.
In her childhood, Alberta found companionship in her beloved dogs, Peanut and Cisco, and later shared a special bond with her current dog, Baby Girl. These animals brought her endless joy to her life.
Alberta’s zest for life and her dedication to her family and friends will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
