Dianne Elizabeth Penley, 67, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on September 22, 2025. She was born on July 19, 1958, to the late Herbert and Alberta Arthur. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and caring great-grandmother.
Dianne was a proud graduate of Southport High School, class of 1977. She was known as the glue of her family, always prioritizing others' needs above her own. She had a unique ability to connect with everyone around her, demonstrating selflessness that left a mark on all who knew her. Her spirit shone through in small acts, like shopping for others instead of herself, showcasing her commitment to those she loved.
Beyond her family role, Dianne had many interests that brought joy to her life. Her passion for chickens, peacocks, and flamingoes reflected her vibrant personality. She enjoyed the freedom of riding motorcycles and was also a proud Matron of the Eastern Star. Dianne travelled to Ireland and embarked on many cruises, where she made memories that would last a lifetime.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband, Brian; sons, Christopher Penley and Tim (Amy) Penley; grandchildren, Trey (Karianne) Penley, Maryssa (Shane) Jones, Leanne (Nathan) Voorhis, Andrew Penley, Layla Penley, Elizabeth Penley, and Justice Penley; great-grandchildren, Skylar Jones, Adalynn Penley, Kayden Penley, Kenny Jones, and Colton Penley; and siblings, Jerry (Jackie) Arthur, Tony (Debbie) Arthur, Jeff (Cheryl) Arthur, Brenda Fox, and Carol (Bruce) Savage.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, from 11am to 2pm, with a Celebration of Life Service at 2pm, at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
