Alberta Charlene Fitzgerald

Alberta Charlene Fitzgerald, 83, passed away peacefully at home on November 16, 2025. Charlene was born on February 4, 1942 to Elizabeth Rose Jones and William Paul Jones. She was also raised by her step-father, Travers Ervin. She had one brother, John Paul Jones. All of these preceded her in death. Charlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A lifelong lover of animals and an avid horsewoman, she approached life with compassion, grit, and a quick wit that brought joy to all who knew her. Her warmth, humor, and deep love for her family will be forever cherished. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, John Fitzgerald; her children David (Janelle) Weatherford, Julie (Kyle) Schneider, Christina (Alan) Wendt, Mia Checkley and Quentin (Tina) Allen; and her step-children Terri (Bobby) Wells, Traci Rebholz, and Tammi (Arash) Farshid. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, all of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to live on through the family she treasured so deeply.
