Charles Marks Obituary
Chuck was born March 14, 1956 in Christopher, Illinois to Ernest and Dollie (Dunham) Marks. He loved to hunt, fish, and gardening. Chuck loved to eat out especially at Pickin & Grinnin' in West Frankfort. He was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinal's.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Linda and Joann Marks.
Chuck is survived by his sister, Debbie (Leon) Sailliez; niece, Jennifer (Steve) Huggins; Derek (Amanda) Sailliez; great nephews and niece: Dylan Stowers, Aaron Sailliez, Sara Sailliez, and Greyson Huggins; special friends: Tuffy Odum, Jeff and Stacy Tharp, Paul and Luann Moak, Tom and Lisa Filkins, and Marsha Hogan.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00p.m. on Tuesday February 17, 2026 in Union Funeral Home – West Frankfort, Illinois with Bradley Dexter officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road. Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the West Frankfort Fire Department. Envelopes will be available and accepted at the funeral home.
