Alberta Fonte Obituary

Alberta was born on February 27, 1924, to Pedro Nolasco Fonte y Montesino and Severa Izquierdo y Veléz in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. She was one of five children. Her other siblings included: Roberto, Armando, Daniel, and Lela.
Alberta left Cuba to be with her family in the United States. She reunited with them in Hoboken in the late seventies, and moved with them to Weehawken in 1981. She worked as a seamstress over a decade and retired in 1989. Post retirement, she continued devoting her time to family.
She is survived by her grandson Raymond, his wife Salma; her great-grandson Christian; her brother Daniel's children Danny & Jorge; her brother Armando's wife Tila & their daughter Niurca; and her brother Roberto's children Roberto & Gabriel.
