Salvatore was born on September 12, 1951, in Berwyn, Illinois, the son of Nino and Nina (Graziano) Fonte.
Salvatore started his own business in Chicago, then moved it to Wittenberg, where he airbrush painted mostly on motorcycles. He loved painting and riding his Harley. Salvatore enjoyed socializing with his friends, joke telling and being a 'ladies' man.'
Salvatore is survived by his children, Rose (Nathan) Harvey, Larayne Hartleben and Sal (Sadie) Kapusta; nine grandchildren, Mason, Andrew, Nolan, Kaylin, Esme, Alexandra, Evangeline, Emilia and Elva, and special friend, Iris Shewmake.
Salvatore was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Anthony Fonte.
No services will be held.
