Alberta Bush Pugh, a beloved member of her community and a cherished figure in the hearts of those who knew her, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. Born on January 27, 1948, in Burke County, Georgia, Alberta dedicated her life to enriching the lives of others through her work at Core Linen Services. Her commitment and warmth were evident in everything she did, reflecting her generous spirit and unwavering dedication.
Alberta leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will not be forgotten. Her colleagues and friends at Core Linen Services remember her not only for her professionalism but also for her bright smile and the genuine care she extended to everyone around her. Alberta was a source of strength to many, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand, embodying the true essence of friendship.
As we celebrate Alberta's life, we invite all who loved her to join in her remembrance. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the love she imparted during her time with us.
The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, beginning at 2:30 PM at Fairfield Baptist Church, situated at 1582 Ben Hatcher Rd, Waynesboro, GA. Following the service, Alberta will be interred at the same location, where family and friends can pay their final respects at approximately 3:45 PM.
Alberta Bush Pugh will forever be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her infectious laughter, and the unwavering love she shared with those fortunate enough to cross her path. Her memory will continue to inspire all of us to embrace life with love, to uplift our communities, and to cherish the bonds that bring us together. May her soul rest in peace, and may we honor her life by carrying forth the values she held dear.
