Alberta Jane Satter

Alberta Jane Satter, 81, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, IN. She was a resident of Franklin, IN. She was born on September 30, 1943 in Franklin, IN to Walter D. and Pauline (Featherngill) Poe. She married John T. Satter on January 20, 1963. He preceded her in passing. Survivors include her children Michael Satter; Michele Kidder; brothers Walter D. Poe, Jr; Daniel Poe, Kenneth Poe, Stanley Poe; grandchildren Jacqueline Satter, Austin Satter; great grandchildren Baylor, Beckham, and Blake Satter. She was preceded in passing by her parents; and husband. Alberta was a graduate of Franklin Community High School class of 1961. She was the church organist at Hopewell Presbyterian Church for 46 years. She also worked for Wiseman Medical Center. Alberta enjoyed traveling; Aurthur Murray Dance Studio; and spending time with her grandchildren. Rev. David Lee will conduct a service on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00am at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home 2898 N. Morton St. Franklin, IN 46131. Friends may call on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 4-7 also at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Johnson County Humane Society.
