Albin Ingwall Lenberg Jr.

Albin Lenberg Jr., son of Albin and Grace Lenberg, born on June 11, 1937, passed away on July 20, 2022.
Albin married Carol Breckel in 1957, and they had three sons and a daughter. Russell (DeeDee, deceased), Rick (Linda), Tom (Michele), and Tamara (Lee Horne, both deceased).
In 1982 he married Bev Mullins, and the family added three sons. Brian (Dawn), Perry (Missy), and Danny (Erika).
In 1948 Albin Sr. married Golda Tanasse, and the family expanded as Jr. had 10 siblings.
He is survived by Bev, (Thomas) Greg Tanasse, Chuck Lenberg, Dorothy Iannucci, 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Remember the best you can give a child is good habits and good memories.
Jr graduated from Moxee High School, then spent several years raising hops and hay in Moxee, until he sold the farm. He owned and operated a tavern in Buena, called "Jr's Friendly Tavern". After selling the tavern, he moved to Las Vegas, where he developed and sold solar for swimming pools. He then decided to make the move to Florida, were he continued in the solar business. While in Florida, he met several pro baseball and football players, one in particular Monte Irving, who played with Willie Mays. When Jr turned 70 years old, he felt that he needed to carry a realtor's license and completed the course. He retired to St. George, Utah, before returning to Yakima.
Albin was truly a sportsman, taking many fishing trips to include the San Juan's or Gulf of Mexico. He could share stories of deer hunting in Okanagan or Moose trips to Canada. In his earlier years he enjoyed the game of baseball, and was known as the lefty knuckle baller.
He could sit down and have conversation with anyone as he never met a stranger. He was also known to enjoy a cold adult beverage, or two. He has created a long list of friends but leaves behind two old and dear friends of 80 years, Joe and Pearl Agurrie. It takes a long time to make old friends and a good friend is cheaper than therapy, and a whole lot more fun.
