Albina Manco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Mar. 18, 2024.
Albina M. Manco (nee Rescigno), a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024, in Voorhees, NJ, at the age of 89. Born on June 5, 1934, in Italy, Albina's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the strength of family bonds.
Albina's journey led her to Marlton, NJ, in 1969, where she and her husband, Leo Stephen Manco, built a life together for 66 years, nurturing a family that would be her greatest legacy. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Robert and Gregory Manco, and a loving sister to Frances "Meg" Gajdos (the late Stephen), Sam Rescigno (Joan) and the late Mary Parente. Her role as a godmother to Denise and Claire was a source of great joy and pride.
Her family circle extended to her cherished nieces and nephews, Raymond Boccella (Maria), Stephen Boccella, Stephen Gajdos (Debbie), Cheryl Gajdos, Sam Rescigno, Denise Coulter (Jeff), and Chrissy. Albina was also a doting great-aunt to Gina, Stephen, Claire, Kalin, Sammy, Nicholas, Stephen, and Gianna. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she left an indelible mark on their lives.
Albina was a woman of many talents and interests. She was a skilled seamstress, an avid gardener, and an exceptional cook. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in creating and nurturing beauty in all forms.
Above all, Albina valued family, especially her sons. It was her most precious treasure, and she dedicated her life to ensuring that her loved ones felt that love in every moment. Much laughter was shared, and memories made at her home.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday March 25th from 10-11 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Monday at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Joan of Arc School, 101 Evans Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053, for the benefit of student scholarships.
