Aldemar Antonio Diosa, de 60 años, de Pawtucket, falleció la noche del 16 de diciembre de 2025 en Boston, Massachusetts, en el Tufts Medical Center, rodeado de su familia.
El Sr. Diosa nació en Pueblo Rico, Colombia, el 20 de octubre de 1965, hijo de Edilma y Jorge Diosa. Llegó a los Estados Unidos a los 5 años de edad, estableciéndose en Central Falls. Se graduó en 1984 de la Escuela Secundaria de Central Falls donde formó parte de los equipos de fútbol y béisbol.
Poco después de graduarse de la Escuela Secundaria de Central Falls, Aldemar se inscribió en los Marines de los Estados Unidos y sirvió durante varios años. Como miembro de una unidad de la Reserva de Marines, Aldemar fue llamado al servicio activo en 1991 cuando Saddam Hussein y su ejército iraquí invadieron el vecino país de Kuwait, lo que dio inicio a la Guerra del Golfo. Tras la victoria y después de completar su servicio en los Marines, el Sr. Diosa fue dado de baja con honores, obteniendo el título de veterano de los Estados Unidos.
Además de sus logros deportivos y militares, el Sr. Diosa también obtuvo una Licenciatura en Contabilidad del Rhode Island College en Providence. Trabajó como preparador de impuestos independiente, estableció un exitoso negocio y forjó varias amistades a lo largo de los años. Le encantaba bailar y viajar a Colombia para visitar a su familia y amigos.
A Aldemar Antonio Diosa le sobreviven su padre, Jorge Diosa, sus queridas hijas, Jackeline Diosa, Victoria Melendez, y una nieta, Gabriela. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Bernardo Diosa, Cened Diosa y Luz Mary, junto a varios sobrinos, sobrinas, otros familiares y sus queridos amigos de toda la vida, Carlos y Nancy.
El velorio será el lunes 22 de diciembre, de 8:00 a 9:00 a. m. en la Funeraria Charles Coelho, 151 Cross St., Central Falls, RI. Sus familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a asistir. Luego se celebrará una misa de cuerpo presente a las 9:30 a. m. en la Parroquia Holy Spirit, 1030 Dexter St., en Central Falls. Se rendirán honores militares durante el sepelio a las 11:30 a.m. en el Cementerio Conmemorativo de Veteranos de Rhode Island, 301 S. County Trail, Exeter, RI.

Aldemar Antonio Diosa, 60, of Pawtucket passed away on the evening of December 16, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts at Tufts Medical Center with his family at his side.

Mr. Diosa was born in Pueblo Rico, Colombia on October 20, 1965, and came to the United States when he was 5 years old, settling in Central Falls. He was a graduating member of the Central Falls High School Class of 1984. While in high school, Aldemar lettered with the varsity soccer and baseball teams.

Soon after his graduation for Central Falls High School, Aldemar enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served for several years. As a member of a Marine Reserve Unit, Aldemar was activated into Active Duty in 1991 when Saddam Hussein and his Iraqi Army invaded their neighboring country of Kuwait, igniting the Gulf War. Following the victory and completing his service to his with the Marines, Mrs. Diosa was Honorably Discharged, earning the title of United States Veteran.

In addition to his athletic and military accolades, Mr. Diosa also earned a BS in Accounting from Rhode Island College in Providence. He was a self-employed Tax Preparer, establishing a fine business and making several friends through the years. He loved dancing and making trips back to Colombia to visit family and friends.

Aldemar Antonio Diosa is survived by his beloved daughters, Jackeline Diosa and Victoria Melendez. He was the proud grandfather of 1 granddaughter, Gabriela. Aldemar was the brother of Bernardo Diosa, Cened Diosa and Luz Mary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and his dear, lifelong friends Carlos and Nancy.

A Visitation to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held from 8-9am on Monday December 22nd in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish 1030 Dexter St. in Central Falls. Military honors will be rendered during committal services at 11:30am in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery 301 S. County Trail Exter, RI.
