Aldona Kibelkstis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home - Worcester on May 28, 2025.
WORCESTER_ Aldona (Ciuldenyte) Kris, Kibelkstis, 88, of Worcester died in her home with her family on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband John Kibelkstis and her first husband John Kris. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Kris of Worcester and Mary Ann Rivera of Bradford, RI; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many friends. The last of five children of Joseph and Ellen Ciuldenyte, she was born in Telsiai, Lithuania.
Aldona immigrated to the United States as a young adolescent. While raising her family, she attended school and became an LPN going into cardiac nursing at St. Vincent Hospital for over 40 years. It was there, she built friendships and always brought laughter with her and to those around her.
She had truly a great and warm sense of humor. Her day-to-day life was enjoyed by either tending to her garden or going to the beach on a sunny day. Her cherished enjoyments in life were dancing, cooking and poetry, which she had several works published.
She was a loving mother and cherished grandmother, who held a great position and impact on our family. She will be forever loved and missed.
A calling hour will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street. The funeral with a Mass will be at 10:30 am on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St., Worcester, MA.
