Alejandro was the beloved husband of Sonia M. Pertuz, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Maria (Steve) Paredes, Jackie (Karl) Baumann, Astrid (Mark) Kowalczyk, and his late son, Alejandro Bustamante. He was the cherished grandfather of Steven and Abigail Paredes, Brianna and Kyle Baumann, and Isabella, John, and Julianne Kowalczyk.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his siblings Angela Donado, Zoila Sandoval, William Bustamante, and Luis Bustamante. He is survived by his loving siblings Josefa Molenda, Antonia Bustamante, and Felicito Bustamante.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his enduring spirit, and the lasting bonds he created with all who knew him. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 9 am until time of the Mass at 10 am at St. Catherine Laboure, 3535 Thornwood, Glenview. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
