I was introduced to Alene through her cousin Edward. I will always remember her for her quick wit, humor and kind spirit. My condolences to Dan, her brother Joe, and extended family.

My deepest condolences go to Dan, Alene's other loved ones and friends. My experience with Alene occurred at the airline where we worked. She was easy to show her great big smile. Alene always brought her A game --- always intelligent and engaging. It was her wit, though, that I appreciated most. She liked to laugh even at herself on occasion.

Even though I was generally aware of her chronic health issues, it was my belief that she would prevail so I was shocked at hearing that she was expected to transition soon. It's still so very sad for me to accept that she's passed on. I take comfort, though, in knowing she's now free from Earthly pain and disease. With luck, I hope to see her again.
